understanding ucs points

Hi my daughter and i are looking at uni's and are trying to understand entry requirements. One of them says the following:-

240 UCAS tariff points minimum achieved from at least two full A-levels or equivalent (including one Science subject)
A BTEC National/Extended Diploma in Horse Management (Merit, Merit, Pass) or other equivalent subjects will be considered
GCSE Maths and English are required at Grade C or above

Does she have to have all three of them marked with a .? I understand that she would have to have 240 ucs points but if she hasnt got them in a alevel science but got the BTEC course as stated and the GCSE Grades. Could she apply? The reaon im asking is she got a over C in her GCSE Sciences which they did a year early and tis year she is doing her Additional sciences(not sure if these get added to her ones she did last year or if it classed as a totally separate grade) will it be 1 for each science subject or a total of all together) Can she get a better grade in additional than her normal core GCSE? Alot of 6th form that ive checked so far wont let her do a level science because she didnt get a B. Alebit she was on 2 marks off but a C Is a C.
Any helpful advise would be very much appreciated.
Things will get better day by day.

If she is doing A Levels, she needs 240 points. Otherwise the BTEC in Horse Management or equivalent will be needed.

    GCSEs on top of that.

She could always ring the admissions department of the university and find out....

If she's doing the A level route she must have a Science A level to be able to apply for the course. If she can't do an A level in Science, she'll need to do the BTEC route.

UCAS points are for level 3 study, not for GCSEs.
