Part Time Student Loans

I've done a search and couldn't find any information regarding this - if there is a thread around anywhere please point me in that direction.

I want to do a vocational degree, distance learning, and part time. As far as I can see on the Direct.Gov website, so long as its at least 25% the length of a full time degree I can apply for a loan to cover the fees but no maintenance loan which is fine.

The course I want to do, isn't on the Open University website unfortunately.

Does anyone have any experience on applying for a loan on this basis?

Loans for part time degrees are very new (stating September 2012, I think) so nobody can have any experience of them yet. Unfortunately, there's very little information as yet on these.

Its a CIPP course, basically a degree in payroll management.

I've managed to find out that you can't actually apply for a fee loan until Jan or Feb 2012 so hopefully there'll be more information out soon.
