Selling Essays...
Anyone know if you can legally sell your essays/dissertations? Can you for example say 'this essay got an A for course bla bla bla'? I cant find any info on the internet and Im assuming there may be some 'laws' on this, ie, perhaps not being allowed to mention the course or the university of course.

New student with existing debts
I am starting uni as a mature student in september, but already have a credit card with a balance of £1600 and a loan for around the same amount. Any advice on how to manage these when I become a student, or the best way to pay them off, maybe with a student overdraft if they allow me to have a second one for this purpose?…

Free Student Key Insurance
Hi, I have posted this here rather than on the freebies board as it is a student only offer. Endsleigh currently have an offer on where they will give you free key cover for the 2010-11 academic year. There is no premium or excess to pay so it seems like a good idea to take advantage of it. The offer expires 31/05/2010.…

Best way to finance a second degree
Due to finish a BSc hons this summer, our son has gained a place on a 5 year medical degree course. I don't believe that he is eligible for student loans this time round and our joint income will probably preclude grants and bursaries. What will be the best way to fund this second degree? Any thoughts?

Can I get an interest free overdraft (or a free railcard etc?) I currently have a not much used "Graduate Royalties" account with RBS (I graduated back in 2007)

Contributions for textbooks...
Sorry if this is a much discussed subject. I've had a little search and couldn't find anything that answers my question. And Google hasn't yielded anything obvious either. My daughter has a conditional offer to a sixth-form college. She received a letter today that says she has to pay £75 for textbooks. Furthermore she has…

Financial Circumstances change...
Hi All, Obviously SFE assess my parents income on the 2008/2009 financial year, which does allow me loans and a very small grant. However, should either of my parents lose their job THIS year, is there anything I would be entitled to, and who would it come from? My understanding is that it would be my university that would…

Overpayment of Grant/Leaving Uni
Hi, I left uni about a month ago, half way through my first year, because I hated it. I spoke to what seemed like half the faculty about my decision and all of them seemed certain that although obviously this would end my entitlement to student finance, my past payments would not be affected. However, yesterday I received…
