Putting posters on IGNORE
If you put people on ignore, does that mean that they can't see anything that *you* post? Or does it just mean that you can't see their posts?

View "thankers" has gone wrong
Is it just me? When I click on "see who thanked this post" (or whatever the wording is) a blank line appears without any names in it. This has just started within the last half hour or so, although tbh I don't often use this facility so it might have been happening for longer.

New Forums
Hi I need some information regarding web hosting contracts. I can't find a relevant forum already in use. I was using fasthost (a website hosting company) for a business idea. The business is no longer in use or the website. They are telling me I cannot close my account and pay off the remaining balance. Nor will they…

why was my thread merged with another not relevant one/.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4164951 I started a new thread about a Tesco Credit Card offer, I posted it in the referrals section but it has been merged with an existing thread to do with Tesco Delivery Saver??? This is not the same thing at all? Before starting the thread I looked for existing threads…

Download a topic in PDF
I love the topic 'Haggle on the high street'. And I would like to have it folded into my wallet so I can have a quick review before popping in to the shop for a Haggle. Is there a way to download the article, perhaps in PDF format?

Forum censorship.
A couple of days, ago in response to a recent on going news item, someone posted in Discussion Time. (I'm being deliberatley ambiguous to avoid this thread being deleted.) The post was thanked by over twenty people and not challenged by anyone. To me this shows although the subject matter was serious, the humorous comment…

Forum downtime
Hi everyone, In the early hours of Thursday 27th September at 1am we will be taking down the Forum for some time to do some database maintenance. The forum will probably be down for about two hours but it could potentially be a bit longer. We'll get it back up as soon as we can. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank…

UKCPS Details no longer available
Hi All I was looking up the forums in regards to to UKCPS Parking notices, and when I click the link that are supposed to show the steps they take, the photo Bucket says cannot be found. I was hoping to see these as I have now just received what looks to be an unofficial Court proceedings company. Any help would be…

Calculator Suggestion
Hi - Great site and very useful info. I especially like the calculators and was wondering if you would consider a rent vs buying calculator. I'm saving for a house deposit and renting at the same time. When I work out my mortgage repayments vs my current rent then at this moment in time I am better of renting until I have…

Can you 'report' other members on MSE?
In particular one member who seems to follow another member & time after time ridicules their question/post & tries to encourage others to mock the OP as well. If you can report for this, then how do you do it?

text only version of forum
is it possible to have text only version of the site? with no images/smiley faces/big formatting blocks, just posts in the form of the user name; date; post; then a reply underneath in the same format. most of the pages are full of signatures, links, flashing buttons and formatting, with some information padded out with…

odd thread - edit button and wrong censoring
The forum seems to have gone odd on a thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4167219 The thread title is censored for no reason - nothing obscene. Post #5 has an edit button, but was not written by me.

The "Thanks" function on this site is good
The norm on many forums is to have an up/down system. But MSE does it a different way - only one-way, up. So you can indicate a post is good, but you can't indicate a post is bad. I much prefer MSE's way of doing things. With a "down" system it makes people fear for posting what might not be the majority opinion. Nice one!…

Citizens Advice Bureau Board ignoring Forum Skin

Why isn't there a general section on this forum ?
Where people can chat about anything as long is it is not adult content. I know its a money related forum, but sometimes I want to discuss something that isn't a money issue and there isn't a section where it can be done.
