mse login needs bringing up to date

email notifications keep coming when offline.
i've noticed over the last couple of days that when i'm offline and someone posts in a thread i am in that an email comes each time someone posts. so i end up with many from the same thread. arent they supposed to stop coming after the first one is sent until i log in again?
