Hi,
Does anyone know if there's an option on the forums where you can stop the smilies moving?
I'm on a new phone and on some of the browsers i downloaded you can turn it off, but on my Opera you can't.
Thanks,
Candy

Not on the forum options.
I suppose you could set avatars not to display in general?
Unselect the option in Edit Options
However, that would also stop them displaying when you use other devices/computers here, so may be "over kill"?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

You could untick the boxes for avatars, signatures and images and you could also reduce the number of posts to show per page.
Any or all of these changes might speed up your browser a little but as fermi says, the options (or lack of) will remain when you use a real puter to view the site.0 -
Not sure whether you're using a version of Opera for phones, but in Opera for Windows -
- Turn on Opera Turbo, this de-animates animated .gif images
- F12 and de-click 'enable animated images' or go into Options and look for a similar settingA kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Thanks for all your replies.
I do have that 'Turbo' but didn't know what it did. Good, I can stop the smilies moving now. It was giving me a headache.
