Boots threads
Its recently been decided that rather than one boots thread we should now have a thread for each bargain or glitch that has been discovered, im guessing the reason for this was due to all the chat that was on the last few threads which had got to ridiculus proportions making it hard to find the specific bargains hidden…

Shopping Boards Rejig?
Can you please consider re-naming or re-organising some of the shopping boards? I understand the purpose of Grabbit and the Grocery boards (love them both!), but how is 'Shop but don't Drop' different? Could we perhaps have a shopping board that is oriented towards family or child-related bargains instead? I…

Search for new posts in one forum only?
I've tried unsuccessfully to find the answer to my question in the threads including the search guide ... so I apologise in advance if I've missed it. Is it possible to do a "new post" search in just Bargains Buys, Sassy shopping forum and sub-forums? I've tried using the search forum and advanced search but there doesn't…

Dear Powers That Be
:D I've been a forum member for a while - mainly using the Bankruptcy Board, as its looking increasing likely that my DH will be headed down that route. Anyway, I've found the forum an absolute Godsend - very informative, and helpful, but - most of the posts and advice are geared toward to the English bankruptcy process.…

Tech Question - Link History
I posted a link to a webpage, upon being quoted the link pointed to the previous link located at the same site. Why can quoting posts with links in sometimes change the underlying link?

New Board Guides?
Where have the old ones gone? And if they are not coming back would it hurt to have some different ones, because the forum is starting to go down a slippery slope and its dangerous. There are threads which are just purely talking about having a bet because the odds are good  There are threads which start of related to…

free security for personal items
Hi, I have just done a mystery shop for a fellow MSE'er who tried to post a request for people to do a mystery shop to test the companies selling his product. Unfortunately, the mod in that section thought he was spam and said so. He replied that he had been a member for a while but just had not posted very much (8 posts…

THANKS Button
Is it me or is the "Thanks" button being a little over used?! Take this thread for example: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1633193 On the first post 7 people have thanked the author for finding the post useful, what's useful about it? There are dozens of other examples, I could go on! When I visit…

Report Post Icon.................
I've noticed that the REPORT POST icon has been moved to the bottom right next to the EDIT button on my own posts or the THANKS button on anyone else's posts Seen a few people complaining around the forums that it's becoming annoying when it jumps across to the right once you have pressed the thanks I also think it's to…

IFA`s. They are everywhere and should be identifiable

Biggest ever Tesco loophole?
Can someone explain how this £12 loophole is bigger than buying an xbox 360 for £299.97 getting a full refund and keeping the Xbox? Over 1000 people profited from this which resulted in Tesco revising it's price promise permanantly to the current situation which is that you receive a refund of double the difference if you…
