Search for new posts in one forum only?

I've tried unsuccessfully to find the answer to my question in the threads including the search guide ... so I apologise in advance if I've missed it.
Is it possible to do a "new post" search in just Bargains Buys, Sassy shopping forum and sub-forums?
I've tried using the search forum and advanced search but there doesn't seem to be an option for dates etc. I tried leaving the keyword blank or using a wildcard * hoping that it would list all threads starting with the most recent but it returns no matches ...

A bit of a DIY approach, but it works. Just add the forum ID for the board in question to the New Posts link.
To do it, copy the link to the browser's address bar.
That is: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew
Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping & Fantastic Freebies is board number 5. You can see that in the link to it.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=5
so it's forum ID (number) is 5.
Add it to the first link like:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew&f=5
You can then save that link as a bookmark/favourite in your browser to use again.
The above will search all the sub-boards of the forum specified, but if you want to search a series of individual separate boards, you add their numbers using the slightly different syntax below.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew&include=76,50,12
That would show you "New Posts" in 76 (Debt Free Wanabee), 50 (Site Feedback) and 12 (Loans).Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

BRILLIANT !!!
Thanks - it does indeed work splendidly and could obviously be quite easily adapted to use for any other forum.

nice trick - although note that the "saving to bookmark/favourites" part isn't as easy as you might expect :
For example if paste http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew&include=76,50,12 into my browser's address bar, I can't save it in favourites until I have pressed 'enter'
but when I do press enter, MSE forums changes the url to a different one : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?searchid=63611461
if I then bookmark that second url, it works fine the next time I visit, but if I come back to it a couple of hours/days later it won't give me the up-to-date search results I am expecting. (at best it seems to give the posts status at the time I created searchid=63611461, at worst, it gives no results at all).
To get around this (and bookmark the useful url), you will probably have to save a bookmark/favourite for another webpage, then manually go into "Organise Favourites" and paste in the good url (the '=getnew&include=76,50,12' one, ) over the existing one.
Alternatively, you could store your personalised (good) search url in another app like Notepad, or make a post on the forum containing the (good) search url (as fermi effectively has done) and then bookmark your post.

Much easier in Firefox, since there is a "New Bookmark" option in the dropdown menu in the bookmark/history organiser.
Dead easy.
You just end up with this dialogue:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
