Question about Ignore

If you have someone on Ignore and they start a thread, do you not see the thread at all, or just not see their opening post? Thread wouldn't make much sense then would it?

I just stuck you on ignore to check
and then took you off. I could see your thread but when I hover around the thread, I couldn't find your post - I had to come into the thread to click it open to read it.
is that what you asked0 -
Erm, I think so lol. Thanks for the experiment!
I've put someone on Ignore who has been sending me snotty PMs (they took exception to something I posted as they completely misinterpreted it, I tried to reason with them but the nastiness just keeps on ). I just wanted to know in case they decide to launch a character assassination on me and I don't know anything about it!
I assume they cannot PM me now - that's another question I meant to ask.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

You won't be hassled with PM BBabe, that's a function as I understand of the ignore feature apart from hiding posts. I just wasn't sure if you could read the opening post without going into the thread, that's why I stuck you there
for a mo.
