Biggest ever Tesco loophole?

Can someone explain how this £12 loophole is bigger than buying an xbox 360 for £299.97 getting a full refund and keeping the Xbox?
Over 1000 people profited from this which resulted in Tesco revising it's price promise permanantly to the current situation which is that you receive a refund of double the difference if you are overcharged.
Maybe the superlatives should be reserved for something that really is BIG!

Quite simple, for over four years, this sites lexicon has referred to this type of deal as a Tesco Loophole, its something we have defined and been consistent on (which I know some don't like)
So when we refer to the biggest ever, this is the largest proportionate profit on this type of deal we refer to. It is explained in copious detail.
Sorry you don't like it.
However as with all headline writing, you have a very small amount of space to get a very big point over, and the job is to entice people to get the info.
You may not like that, but that's how it works - and its something that this site has done very well over the years, turning a once boring subject into a mainstream outlet.
