Aldi/Lidl/Tesco/Asda ??? Which would you choose??
Ok, I've just taken a look at the bank balance and it ain't looking pretty at the moment. So I have to try and make a conscious effort to save money on my shopping (weekly shop usually costs £100). I am not a fussy eater, however I do insist on some things - hovis/warburtons bread, decent quality meat etc.... So which do…

Sky HD prices to tumble next month
Sky is to knock £99 off the price of its Sky HD satellite TV set-top box, reducing the price of the hardware from £249 to £150. It's hard to see the decision not motivated by the arrival of Freesat and its free-to-air HD offering, but whatever Sky's reasons, the move will see installation cost new subscribers £30 -…

import taxes
could anyone tell me how much I will have to pay in taxes to import goods by post to Ireland to the value of €500? As there are 5 items I could order them 1 at a time but this would incur extra shipping. Does every import become liable for tax or do some slip through the net? I have never ordered goods to this value before.

WH Smith Clubcard - Scheme Finishing
Was in my local WH Smith today in Essex where they told me that the Clubcard scheme would be finishing shortly (date unknown). Seems that sometime in the near future they will be emailing registered customers with money-off vouchers instead. I know this started to happen elsewhere in the country before Christmas.
