While shopping in Asda this morning , I put 2 bags of Granny Smiths pre packed apples (£1.68 each) in my trolley.
Cursing the price , I happened to pick up a bag of value apples and noticed in small letters on the bag Granny Smiths !
I have never noticed the names on these value bags before ,so moral is always check the value bags of bananas and apples before forking out.
Saved myself nearly £2 a week

We always buy Smartprice apples at Asda. They are invariably the nicest tasting ones in the store IMO - and just 88p per large bag!0

Keep an eye on the price per kg though - loose bananananas were cheaper per kg than the value ones in sainsburys this week'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
