Monthly Savings query - confused about how they work
I would like to open a monthly savings account with Barclays. I will open it sometime this month, and the 12 month period will end on Mach 2010. I will be saving £20 per month. I don't understand fully how they work. After the 12 month period, it auotmatically converts into an instant access savings account. If I want to…

Barclays 6% Monthly Savings

While the interest rate is fixed and very high, you can only invest £240 to £3000 in using 12 equal monthly payments and at the end of 12 months the interest rate will drop significantly, as it will if you make…

Looking for FTSE100 tracker with low charges
I was thinking of investing around £3000 as a lump sum in a FTSE100 tracker fund (ideally as an ISA). I know there are quite a few mainstream companies offering this for an annual management charge of 1% but does anyone know of any providers who would do this for less? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Andy

I've currently got a Barclays monthly savings account, that is funded via a standing order from my First Direct current account.
