How can you schedule things this way? Aren't these the busy dates for discussion on savings and investments affairs!

Not ideally. People really should have their ISA and pension arrangements for 2008/09 sorted long before the last weekend, as it's anyone's guess as to whether the paperwork and therefore the applications will go through before the tax year ends. How can you schedule things this way? The two weeks before and the two weeks after are the busiest weeks of the year. You have the last minute contributions and the early contributors shortly followed by the Bed & ISA transactions.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

It will be nice to get away from MSE for the weekend. Although I have already planned to go look at a house on Saturday down in Southampton ready for my placement at IBM. Sunday not sure what I am going to do, suppose I should see my family as I am at home for Easter!0

I must say that I tend to agree with the OP.
In my case I am looking at next year, on the advise of my doctor, (he says that I need to get out more), I shall be waiting in a queue next Monday morning with 180 twenty pound notes in a carrier bag for the I.S.A. provider to open up.
I suppose that I could trawl through numerous sites on tinternet to see what is on offer but being a basically lazy person, I tend to rely on this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=4013740
