Halifax Guaranteed Saver transfer time

Hi,

I've got the Reward version of the above and transferred a chunk to my Halifax current A/C online 1st thing Sunday. Noticed a message saying it can take up to 48 hours - was not expecting the delay.

Nothing has happened 24 hours later and nothing shows to indicate anything is pending. Anyone know how long it normally takes and if I phone them, are they able to give the computer a kick to hurry it up?

Mine happened overnight (weekday) when I requested a similar transfer, so the timing appears to be variable within the 48 hour timeframe (also no indication of the pending transfer until it was actioned, if that reassures you - I assume it is a manual transfer process and/or someone has to check the details to action it when requesting online).

Nothing in the online help indicates this may happen as far as I can see - oh well, lucky I left a day in hand before I really need the funds!
