Just applying for ISA, bit confused about monthly payments.

The thing that confuses me is that I have to make a minimum investment of £3K,and since it's a mini ISA then I have a max of £4K. However, I want to make regular monthly payments into a unit trust fund. Am I confusing things here? AFAIK you can…

I bought a house in 1990 and it's value has quadrupled over the past 15 years. I am paying around 5% interest on the mortgage, and during that time the stock market has risen at around 14% each year. I’ve looked at new 6% or 7% savings accounts on offer, and Lloyds and Alliances current accounts which also cash back. Can anyone please recommend the best way to invest this? Thanks, Ship
