Have you looked at Premium Bonds at 24,000 to 1 Odds.

Invested money back to you when required in 1 month ?

You'd need signifcantly better than average luck for this method to "maximize return" over such a short time period, especially as your money will typically sit 6 weeks unused before you are entered in a draw. Don't do it.

But are you not secure that each month you will have at least a minimum £50 prize ?

Just because the odds suggest you will win once a month for every 24,000 bonds you have doesn't mean that will actually happen. It's still entirely possible that you'd go a whole year and not win a thing. Of course you could win several £50s a month too but the point is nothing is guaranteed with bonds.
