Hi,
I have around 40K to invest for around 6 months. Can anyone recommend the best way to earn the maximum interest on the savings? I’ve looked at new 6% or 7% savings accounts on offer, and Lloyds and Alliances current accounts which also cash back. Can anyone please recommend the best way to invest this?
Thanks,
Ship

I wouldnt invest for 6 months unless you know what you are doing. Even then, you would have to be careful how you do it and accept the risk that goes with it.
Savings accounts would be more appropriate and I will leave others to answer that. Although there probably isnt any difference in the responses given to others asking the same question over the last few days.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
