PPI Claim from accounts post 2013
Hello, I’ve never thought about claiming PPI as I have only taken out credit cards and loans since 2013, I was always under the assumption that it was on “older” accounts. Do you reckon I was miss sold it? I know there was a deadline of end of August but, I’ve been working 2 jobs to get rid of the debit & helped care for 2…

Finally found credit agreement and it is in a different name
I wonder if I have missed my chance. I went through Gladstone Brooke’s to reclaim ppi on a loan I had with Abbey National (now Santander) I knew I had ppi on it but the response was I didn’t have ppi with them. Before I go on I have to say Abbey/Santander have real difficulty with my name. It isn’t a particularly unusual…

Ppi commission
I have just had a successful Ppi payout, I used the Claims guys (I realise now that I should have done it myself!) who have now sent their request for payment. I notice they are charging 30% + vat. As I didn't sign the LOA until July this year is this right? I thought it was capped in 2018 to 24%.

Hi, I just got a final reply (7th October) from the estate agent who mis-sold me PPI for a mortage. (My complaint was filed before the August deadline) They offered a 3rd of a full refund: the difference between my level PPI and decreasing version of it. I have just filled in an online form with the ombudsman with all the…

I have been a policy holder of the above plan for over 15 years. Suddenly Cigna have written to me stating "they are no longer able to provide cover" at the next renewal. They don't give a reason. Has anyone come across such a situation? It may be in the policy conditions that they can stop providing cover at any time they…

I am claiming the tax back on PPI that I have successfully been awarded. My income has always been below the tax threshold . My question is, when I successfully reclaimed PPI for my late husband’s cards etc, tax was taken off at 20%. Can I claim back the 20% or should it have been 8%? Thank you.

PPI Claim Refused
I took out a loan in 1994, just before the sale of PPI was regulated. We’ve had a letter from Santander stating they are not the data controller for Byte Computers and to redirect out ppi claim to them. Has anyone come across this before? The ppi was on Lombard Tricity Finance statements, which according to frc is Santander. Of course the letter has no return email address just a generic…

Hsbc not paying my PPI redress of £20,000
So, after receiving a letter from HSBC confirming the redress of £20,000 would be paid within 4 weeks, it hasn't! I called yesterday and they said they hadn't received the documents from the local branch in Brighton 4 weeks ago. Strange therefore that the interest on the account of almost £2000 has been paid to HMRC on my…
