Morning Received a letter from the Financial Ombudsman about PPI claim I had put in. There response is that they can't do anything as the 'business is resigned'. Not sure what that means. Thanks

Claims company - can I get out of it?
Used direct redress to claim against PPI miss selling, one company has come back to me directly with an offer of over £2,000. DR doesn't know about the offer, think I have something similar coming from a credit card too. Can I stop this from going ahead or do I have to use the claims company now? Thanks in advance.
