I have a pesky squirrell that loves to wake me up every morning trying to chew through the cable on my roof. It is a great game and he will eventualy win. I am out of ideas. Hand clapping, throwing little pepples (my aim is not good) the hose jet won't reach him. ??????

Warning- pokemon cards "factory seconds"
Just thought I'd let you know about a scam that's going around with pokemon cards. Currently sellers who are selling fakes are claiming they are "factory seconds", and so may have different thicknesses, or typos. Nope, they're just fakes, and not cheap ones at that. They do NOT look like this in their boxes: But do look…

Warning: IKEA misleading pricing
I saw a shocking example of deceptive pricing today at IKEA, Edinburgh. What was worse, the staff and supervisor I talked to refused to accept there was any problem with it, and refused to log a complaint I wanted to make. (And of course, they publish no way to complain online.) At the Checkouts, they promote things like…

Autism - Deprivation of Liberty order
Hi all, I hope you won't mind me posting this here even though it's not strictly about money. I really feel angry about what is happening, though, so feel it qualifies as a vent. I have a friend, Mark Neary, who has an adopted son of 20 with autism. Around Christmas last year, Mark had flu and his son Steven was given…

Marks and Spencers selling other brands
I visited M&S in Cardiff yesterday and was shocked to see that they are stocking other brands in their food section. I really do not want to go the M&S to buy Whiskas cat food and PG Tips tea bags. What really annoyed me was that there were no M&S tea bags available - but two shelves full of PG Tips (these appeared to be…

Do not use woolysdirect.co.uk or raagliving.com
Do not buy from raagliving (.com) or their sister website woolysdirect (.co.uk) I bought over 2,000 pounds of furniture (in July) from them and a week before delivery (one month after I had ordered the goods - 3rd August ) they said they had to cancel my order and had refunded my credit card. However, they said they could…

Ahhhhh!!! Why is Santander so very bad!!!!
I just wanted to close my ISA, it had £11 in it; I'd had it 6 years and never used it. (I also have a grudge against them for huge fees, making me redundant, withdrawing my overdraft with no pre-warning and generally being a pain in the !!!! on any transaction I've ever wanted to make! But that's a different story.) I had…

trying to register new bank account online vent
Ok so to keep my wife happy, we opened a joint account in a branch, it was easier that way, and I tried to register for online banking. It is an either or account not a Mr and Mrs account, or so I thought. This will become clear later. I kept getting to the final page where it should say I was successful but I always got…

www.funwarehouse.co.uk
They are a fancy dress company and have a great range. The products we bought were also of a really good quality. Bit of a warning though, order in plenty of time, we didn't and it caused us a few bitten nails. We ordered around 13-14 days before we needed them for a special event and got confirmation. We then heard…

Left Item at Checkout

Praise - Polti customer service
My Lecoaspira 690 threw a tantrum the other day - something shorted and I ended up with some burn marks on my hall carpet and the machine is obviously also very dead - it's just over 1 year old but they do come with a 2 year warranty. I called Polti and after a quick conversation, emailed them pictures and asked about…

Ignored by Alpharooms
I booked a hotel with Alpharooms which they changed at the last minute. The replacement hotel was most unsatisfactory and I complained in writing. Alpharooms ignored this. I went on their website to place a "Support Request", the only way via email you can contact them. "MY Account" shows a balance outstanding of £78.18,…
