Ticket machines charge train travellers twice the cheap fare
Train companies are failing to offer the cheapest fares on their ticket machines, causing thousands of passengers to pay double the correct price. Several companies in southern England are charging passengers more in this way but the problem is greatest at South West Trains (SWT), the operator exposed this week as having…

Sky invoice
Is it fair that we are penalised by Sky just because we don't want to pay by Direct Debit? Every month they send us an invoice for which they charge £4 which I think is a lot of money just to send out a piece of paper. What I really want to know is if I have to pay the extra £4.

Post Office free month insurance offer misleading
As I have had my car from new my insurance, MOT and tax all arrive in May. Their quote came in about £20 more than a few other companies but I…

Security Deposit scam?? please help!
My husband and I live in the US. We recently spent a wonderful week in London. Unpleasant mail order company 'Easylife'
My elderly mother sent a cheque to this company for a 'bath grab rail' because Dad has trouble using the bath. The thing duly turned up today - 2 MONTHS after the cheque had been cashed and the rail itself is the most shoddy and dangerous piece of work I've ever seen ie poor welding and razor sharp edges. I spent an hour…
