I, like many other MSE'rs placed a large order for sale items with GUS (or kays - all part of same group) Had confirmation e-mail and told kids they would be getting new trainers for their hols !
Now notice on grabbit board that a lot of the orders placed have been cancelled with no notification to the customer - people had been given del dates but goods not turning up - when they phone cs they are told orders have been canx because goods out of stock. Logged into my account to see order canx :mad: Tried to e-mail them but link isn't working - tried calling - line is busy but automated message says call back tuesday !!!!
My point is - how can they get away with this - of the 28 items i ordered surely they can't all be out of stock - especially when they are still showing at full price on the LX direct website (same group - same warehouse) Actually put the same items in my basket on LX Direct page and took a screen dump. Think this is one for Trading Standards
