no receipts in Woolworths
I don't know if this is just local, or whether it is a new policy but Woolworths no longer give receipts for items paid for in cash and £3 and under. I bought some drinks and a newspaper today, totalled just over £2 and gave the correct money. I decliend a bag as I try to be green and use my own, but waited for my receipt.…

Best way to get compensation from Royal Mail
I posted this in the wrong forum earlier....:o =========== I've just made a special trip to the local sorting office (the notorious London SE1 one) to pick up something that the postman had allegedly tried to deliver to me three days ago but it was too big for my letterbox. My sister was home all day that day, and actually…

Currys/mastercare fobbing things off onto everyone else, GRRRR!
Just needed to vent my frustration at Currys/Mastercares incredible ability to annoy customers by fobbing them off onto everybody else/backwards and forwards! I bought a Plasma TV from them back in January which has recently developed a display problem. I called Currys nearly a month ago, who fobbed me off onto Mastercare.…

Another Freemans problem - threatened with court action
This is a long story but I'll try and keep it brief. I have been a Freemans customer since June 1999 and always made my monthly payments on time. Over the years we have ordered all sorts of appliances, clothing, furniture, etc from Freemans without any great problems. Until July 2005 when we ordered a new mattress. After…

Tesco food, broken tooth, cracked filling.
I bought a packet of mixed nuts and raisins from Tesco and after putting a handful in my mouth and biting, I felt an excruciating pain from my back tooth. My filling had come out and my tooth had cracked. I spat out what I was eating and there was a small chunk of orange stuff which I think is hard brittle plastic. I'm not…
