Telephone directory entry for BT line
I'm hoping that the BT rep can help with this. Our church vicarage has been unoccupied for a year and the BT line disconnected (it was supposed to be just suspended but that's a different story). So that a new line would be working when our new Vicar takes up residence, I applied for a new line for the Vicarage under my…

VoIP incoming numbers in Switzerland and France
I'm looking for a service to provide cheap (or even free) incoming SIP numbers in France and Switzerland. The cheapest I have found so far: http://www.mydivert.com - costs €2.50/month for France and €7/month for Switzerland http://www.sipcall.ch - has a free service with a Basel area code number, or costs CHF 1.90 / month…

BT Line Rental charge..
I really hope this isn't a stupid question but my line rental shows on my bill as £15.45. I have spoken to BT about this, twice, and they insist that I'm actually only paying £12.50. They said the difference is shown as a credit on my bill. Well I'm looking at the copy of my bill online right now for my most recent bill…

Cancelling BT line
I was shocked yesterday when I called BT to cancel my MIL's account that they insist on 14 days notice even when someone has passed away. In fact although yesterday was the 10th day of the month the account will continue to be charged until 26th.

Well, the saga with TALK TALK continues for me! A few months ago I was left with no land line or internet connection for a whopping 12 days after TT would not listen to my complaints. Basically there was a fault with the outside line - my husband (an engineer) diagnosed that the problem was outside of the property on day…

Call charges to connect to a mobile?
Do BT charge you to call a mobile even if the person doesnt pick up? My wife gives her sister two rings and then she calls her back as she gets free calls. Looking at our bill there are lots of 2-3 second calls charged at 21p each time. So do you get charged just for attempting to make a call?

BT - also subject to UNFAIR charges?
I've just received a bill from BT which includes a £7.50 'penalty charge' (my choice of words) for not using my phone. There is no written agreement between me and BT regarding this charge. Surely this must be an unfair charge. My cordless landline phone broke and I haven't replaced it, so I'm not using it. I am using the…

BT Rep, please help - They've really lost the plot now!
I decided after years of hassle - a substandard phone-line; incorrect bills; the inability of BT to process vouchers for free calling features (obtained on buying a BT phone) and over 80 e-mails to and from their overseas call centre, to finally change provider. I feel I have been more than patient, but recently I found…

Persistent nuisance calls from BT Sales.
Having received 3 to 4 calls a day over a 3 week period from phone number 0800 9889 546 identifying themselves as BT Sales I am getting somewhat annoyed. Informing them politely that I do not want to avail my home phone or myself with any of their offers has no effect in ending these calls.Changing my response to…
