Talk Talk Connection Charge Increase From 1/11/2009

No surprise to see that TT follow BT and put up their connection charge for chargeable calls,
" From 1 November, calls that today incur an 8p call connection charge will instead incur a charge of 9.05p."

A rumour going around the City is that Talk Talk want to sell Energy soon.
"Could Telecom Plus be a target for Carphone? FinnCap argues that, post-demerger next year, its TalkTalk unit may look to promote further growth from its residential base with products such as gas and electricity. Telecom Plus would be the only suitable platform if TalkTalk looks to acquire over the next couple of years."
