Tried ringing her with my mobile but her line was engaged. She tried ringing me with her mobile and my line was engaged too. Rang someone else on my mobile…

Hello, Any advice? People in my household are taking liberties with the phone and i would like to bar calls to mobile phones. BT are Cheaper Than TalkTalk for 0845 numbers
If you are on TalkTalk and dial 0845 numbers (and you can't find the normal 01/02 number) you will pay MORE than if you were on BT. TalkTalk charges - 4.5p daytime & 1.5p evening and weekends BT charges3.0p daytime & 1.0p evening and weekends TalkTalk have confirmed that this will NOT change in the future, and the £1,000…

18866 e-mailing invoices
Don't they email you the invoices any more? I have just looked online and I was invoiced yesterday, but haven't received an email. My first invoice for 04/03/05 was sent by email. There is an email box at the side of my invoice account and when I click on it, it gives me the option to send myself the invoice. Maybe that is…

mobile free zone
Hello all, I have just been hit by a £400 telephone bill generated by my daughter in six weeks. The credit limit was automatically raised by BT and they informed me of the new DD of £272 per month. I immediately asked for a total outgoing call bar whilst I found out what was going on. On discovering the source, I asked for…

18866 style rates from payphones and hotel rooms abroad ?
I want to be able to get 18866 rates from payphones abroad. I was hoping that I could dial an international free phone number from a payphone abroad and enter my account id then make a call and have it charged to my 18866 account, unfortunately they don’t do this. Are there any 18866 style Telco’s that provide this…

18866 - increased charges
I note that 18866 now says on their website etc.,that they charge .5p per minute from 1st June - although when I make calls the recorded voice is still saying 'zero pence per minute! Likewise the website says that calls to mobiles have gone up to 14p, but the voice still says '12p per minute'. Any comment?

Another NTL rip off trap to be aware of
Here's something every NTL user should be aware of. And it's made me so angry, I think it necessitates shouting: WHEN YOU MOVE HOME NTL WILL CHARGE YOU ONE MONTHS LINE RENTAL FROM THE DATE YOU TELL THEM YOU ARE MOVING, EVEN IF THEY HAVE DISCONNECTED THE LINE. What do I mean? I moved house on 13th May. I rang NTL on the 9th…

Call Divert
I need to use BT Call divert to transfer one line to another while I'm out of the building. The monthly charge of £1.75 is ok, but I did'nt realise I have to pay for incoming calls which have been diverted, obviously at BT standard rates. Does anyone know of any alternative way to divert calls from one phone to another for…

Unlimited Calls with TalkTalk/Tele2 - From £7.49?
TalkTalk are now doing unlimited (well for the first 70mins of each call anyhow) geographical calls for £7.99. They're obviously only doing this to match AOL's unlimited geographical package of the same monthly price. As of time of writing this, OneTel don't appear to have any offers but I suspect they may also match the…
