Abroadtel Problem
Today when I tried to use the newly suggested cheap calls to mobiles from landlines via Abroadtel. Instead of connecting to my brother in the same village I was twice connected to a German answerphone message!! Any ideas? - No - I'm not going to learn German!!!

Opps - need to add 1899 to start of username phone number, and it needs to be the first one listed --- Any ideas? I've tried my number (only have a mobile), with and without the starting zero (078... / 78).

1899 problems this morning
Anyone else having probs trying to use either of the 0808 access numbers today? Neither seem to connect to the voice prompt. I've registered a fault with the website. Back up and running now (1155).

CPW have now launched there Talk Talk service in Eire. See https://www.talktalk.ie One of the benefits you will see that they offer Eire customers,is that they can ring Talk Talk UK customers for free.I wonder if they will soon be giving UK TT customers the same benefit in reverse.

Onetel Direct Debit for 5p!
I can't believe that One Tel invoiced me 5p this month and actually debited my account. Must have cost them ten time as much to collect. I must have forgotten to use 18866 for that call because I only use OneTel at weekends when it's free!

Help ! Just cut thru phoneline, will I have to pay?

Ok, going back to BT, only on option one, using talk talk & 1899 etc My question is, for people that have moved back from NTL to BT, can the BT line be plumed straight into the NTL telephone line? BT Abolish Caller Display Charge
I was speaking to BT today while getting my Mothers line moved from Telewest and requested caller ID for her. They said to wait till after 1st July as it was becoming free on that date!
