Amish Inspiration?
I was watching the programme where UK teens go to stay with Amish families and it was quite inspiring to me. One lady showed her pantry and it was filled with jars of fruit / vegetables / meat / cordials that she had made. They seem to grow a lot of their fruit and vegetables themselves - I know that the wives are home all…

Is anyone watching this tonight? Whilst it has some good ideas can you believe the amount of money they consider to be really thrifty for family meals? 5 meals for a family of 5 for £80. £80! They must have meant £18 - surely? Have I lost the plot or what?

Having friends with fussy kids over for dinner
Hi, we've got some friends coming over for dinner, but their kids are really fussy. I don't really want to cook separate junk food as mine will eat anything and would prefer to join in with what we are eating. I suggested to their mother that I could make Moroccan chicken/lamb or a Moussaka, but she pulled a face and said…

Smelly Vacuum
Hey guys, wondered if anyone can help me out here. My vacuum ( upright D***n ball) kind of smells when I use it. It's not 'bad' but it's annoying. The smell does not linger, it's only about while the machine is on. I do wash the machine + filters, but it's just not practicle to be washing the whole thing each week. But, if…
