Kim and Aggies Carpet Cleaning Method
Does anyone remember it? I know it involved white toilet soap, and laying down a towel and stamping on it to draw out all the water, but I can't remember the details. I have a 5 foot strip of carpet just inside the front door. It's pale green and is starting to look a bit grubby. No outstanding stains just a bit yucky…

Using up banana chips?
Hey, hope this is the right place... I bought some honey dipped banana chips from Julian Graves coz they were reduced. I like to eat them on their own but I'd like to do something with them. Is there any way of using them up? I'd make muffins or something but I have no flour or anything like that. Thanks in advance :)

Garlic Oil - did I do the wrong thing?
My home grown garlic had started to go mouldy in the fridge so I spent a couple of hours peeling about 20 garlic bulbs and popped them into an empty vodka bottle and topped it up with veg oil. Mystery cooking pot
My fiance tells me that his father used to have what he called a "bachelor pot" - apparently some sort of clay pot which went on the stove top. It looked like a large saucepan with a lid on it and worked like an oven so for example, jacket potatoes cooked in it on the hob came out like proper oven jackets. His father…

Anyone have a Chestnut Stuffing Recipe ??
I was given some fantastic homemade chestnut stuffing, and would love to make my own. I understand you can buy tinned chestnut puree, does anyone know of a recipe ???
