Hi All
Happy New Year.
I am trying to get organised this year with budgeting, cleaning etc and although I have found your fabby calendar I was wondering if there are any other things I can download, like menu planners, shopping list etc??
Many thanks x

Is there an idiot proof guide on spreadsheets? I'd love to be able to do them, but find them daunting.0 -
I have found your fabby calendar
What's the fabby calendar? I use fairly basic spreadsheets, one for a (rough) budget and one for my meter readings. They aren't very flashy, but I could email them to you if you wanted to use them as a starting point. PM me your email address if you want.
I think I might have spreadsheet another MSE'er sent me once too. Somewhere.0 -
Have found the spreadsheet another MSE'er sent me now. It's more complicated, but very thorough (and colourful)0

Oh colour-coded, even better! I love the calculators on here too, the demotivator and savings account calculators really help me see the bigger pictureRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0

o0o0o0o colour coded spreadsheets are like my heaven (I know, I lead a very sad life).
I have made up one for this year but thinking of making up some more for various things and updating them throughout the year. I also print mine off usually but instead this year I added to an A4 project book I bought for just 20p which contains all my organisation for the year.
There are many various templates on the general web but i can't say I've seen one from the oldstylers. I only have the ones I have made myself based on idea's from the budget spreadsheet and general web onesCredit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

Santa got me an "I Heart Spreadsheets" mug this year
and very appropriate it is too. I'm a complete Excel geek. I'm especially obsessed with vlookups and conditional formatting! DH is also an Excel geek so we are well matched.
I keep meaning to do a proper budget spreadsheet with all the incomings/outgoings so we can keep track of it all properly. I do have a big costings spreadsheet though where I can work out exactly how much a recipe costs me to make including any packaging and how much I would need to sell it for to cover costs/make a profit etc, for if I do a craft fair or someone wants a cake made etc. I have one sheet where I list all the ingredients I use, with prices, pack sizes etc. Then another sheet with all the packaging (muffin cases, labels etc). And a template that I can copy for every new recipe, where all I have to do is select the ingredients from a drop down menu and type in the quantity or weight and it pulls all the other details across and does all the sums. I love my costing spreadsheetBit sad really.
I also have much more simple ones for things like Christmas present lists (budget for each person, what I've bought them, how much I have left to spend on them etc etc).0 -
Snap! I got that mug as my leaving present from my old role at work! I personally love pivot tables: much handier than graphs :0)
Hmmm may have to sneak s pivot into my accounts s/sheet now lolFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0
