Hello
Just a quick question...
I have suddenly become inspired to cook Chicken Divan (after posting about it a few days ago!) and altho I have all the ingredients in, my brocolli is looking a bit worse for wear and is going yellow.
its not mouldy and smells ok - but will it ruin my dish if I use it? Would you use it? Have you used yellow brocolli?!
Thanks in advance

I haven't used it and I wouldn't use it. I think by the time it is yellow it has lost any nutitional benefit and I would always have other veg that was fit to eat.0

I have eaten yellow broccoli (usually means the flowers are about to bloom). Flavour & nutritional values are poor though.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0

I should have said, its going in a really rich sauce with chicken... Wouldn't like to serve it up on its own like that and can imagine it is nutritionally bereft!
Anyway, I cooked it, chucked it in the sauce and it doesn't taste any different to normal - perfectly fine0
