Ideas for chiffon type fabric
Hi all - I've been given about 5 metres of a chiffon type fabric with a beautiful black/cream feather type pattern, and I'm after some ideas of what to do with it (keep it clean, now!!) Also, any advice on how difficult it is to sew (machine) or anything I need to be aware of! Looking forward to hearing suggestions! Ta:)

can I use washing powder in the dishwasher?
A friend of mine (who claims his authority from a chemistry degree) claims that washing powder is fundamentally the same as dishwasher powder, and they can be used interchangeably. Hope you can help me? I am old style but need help with veg, if we have a roast etc we always seem to have it with mash, roasts pots and carrots and brocoli.
