It seems that beeswax candles are not as toxic as standard candles but they tend to be more expensive. Anyone know of any suppliers? Or is it cheaper to make your own?

Ordinary paraffin wax candles aren't toxic as far as I'm aware but they do give off more smoke than beeswax ones. Plus, beeswax ones smell nicer but I agree they are a heck of a price. Slabs of beeswax can be bought on ebay quite easily but it can a bit fiddly to make into candles. You could make your own out of a 50/50 mix of beeswax and paraffin wax and maybe get the best of both worlds.0
