I always freeze my mince afta halving the packet. Once I've made my meal out of it, can I freeze it again?

Freezing Chilli Con Carne
Is it okay to freeze it? For some reason, I think you can't freeze the kidney beans when they are cooked. I'm using the ones from a can.

Fruit Trees by the roadside...
At this time of year all the apple & pear trees seem to be full of fruit. I often drive by and wish i could stop and pick all the goodies off them. It seems such a waste!! My hubbie will never stop though, lol!

How to tone down curtains
I bought some brand new Ikea curtains from a charity shop for 2.50. They are quite a bright red and don't really go with the other reds in my room. Is there any way to tone them done/fade them a bit. They are made of 100% cotton. Thanks Becky

Cleaning Converse trainers.
I have some red gingham converse and they are my favourite shoes. They have little strawberries and things on them too! Today I got them drenched in muddy puddles and they are filthy inside and out.
