The (first) suit is already purchased and was a major dent in the credit card and is dry clean only. My question is - how often should I dry clean it? My own opinion about washing clothes is to…

My Mum's a terrible waster!
I originally posted this in the Money Savers Arms, but thought that a wider audience should know what I'm up against! My Mum, who should know a whole lot better, given her age and being brought up during the war, is the worst waster I know. She'll buy a new bottle of ketchup/washing up liquid/mayonnaise/…

Dry Clean or bung it in the WM?
There's a definite autumnal chill in the air today so I dug my coat out of the wardrobe this morning. Trouble is it's looking a bit grubby and it's 'dry clean only'. So my question is: Do you dry clean if it says so on the label or do you just bung it in the WM on a delicate cycle and hope for the best?

Are we getting short changed.....
I have heard about this phenomenen(SP) twice today, once on the TV and once on the radio. Apparently to keep their profit margins up and keep supermarkets happy manufacturers are putting "less" into their products.
