Freezing Chilli Con Carne

Options
Is it okay to freeze it? For some reason, I think you can't freeze the kidney beans when they are cooked. I'm using the ones from a can.

  • I always freeze it and use tinned KBs. A word of warning though - freezing seems to increase the heat of the chili. I've been caught out by this a few times and ended up having to use cheese or creme fraiche to tone it down a bit.
