Breadmaking, sd252 owners - help!
We love the spiced fruit loaf from the Panasonic sd252 recipe book but I keep on missing the raisin beep. Several times now we have ended up with white bread with a small cinnamon ripple + loads of burnt fruit on the bottom!!! Anyone know what time the beep happens so I can set the cooker timer too?

Any uses for 'past its best' yogurt?
Hi I have just found a big tub of virtually fat free natural yogurt at the back of the fridge with a use by date of 10 Feb! Should I throw it out or are there any 'safe' suggestions to use this? While I wait and hope for some ideas, I think I better start to sort out the shelves in my fridge... Thanks, Mup.

I do. I really do. It's all the fault of being OS. Because if I wasn't OS, I would use tea bags in a mug like everyone else & wouldn't even own a teapot. . But nooooooo, I'm OS & therefore I use tea leaves in a teapot 'cos it's an OS way of eeking the tea out of fewer leaves, thereby costing less:idea:. Consquently I spent…

My husband has been put on a no-sugar/sugar substitute diet for medical reasons and must also steer clear of "bad fats". I've thought…

Old favourite: save 1 litre on every flush
I've said before but in the interests of Martins money saving book here's a save your pocket AND the environment tip! Old Style Book - What Do You Stash?
Hello - probably like most of us I've got a few sachets of hot choccy in the cupboard that have come into my possession after staying in hotels and a few spare packets of salt and pepper from the chippie etc - what 'thrifty' things do you hang on to when you're out? Just to start you off I was thinking salt, pepper, sugar,…
