Dud anyone watch this, the guy had cloned fast food recipes, like the Big mac, stuff crust pizza hut pizza, just checked out his webpage http://www.topsecretrecipes.com/recipes.asp?sessionid=&login=yes, mainly American food, but as thinking of giving some of the things a try, anyone else having a go.
  • I tried some about 5 years ago when it first came out, some of the stuff is quite good fun to try , but the prob I found was some of the ingredients are generic American products and not available here , so you have to try and find an alternative which may or may not work.

If the concept appeals to you , then I think you will find it entertaining , but prob not very MSE.

In HFW's book Hugh Fearlessly-Eats-It-All (love that title!) there's a reprint of an article he wrote in the 90's where he tries to recreate the Big Mac. He also makes a burger that tastes good!

This guy called Todd Wilbur makes well know food and drink items like Big Mac and Cola. Apparently there are suppost to be really good and taste like the original.

So not as good as Old Style freshly cooked food, then ;):D

I'll add this to the existing thread on recreating fast food
