Can I get my car serviced during the second coronavirus lockdown?
Some idiot slashed my tyres (and others on my road). My car is due for a service so was going to get that done and everything else at the same time. When I go on the Ford website however, none of their locations are showing as open (I have a service plan with them). Have all the garages shut down too?

Tyres 215 vs 205
I ordered 2 x Avon ZV7 in size 215/55/R16 97W online from ATS. Went this morning for fitting and they claimed I had ordered the wrong size tyres even though every tyre checker out there recommends 215/55, they said it happens sometimes and that I should have 205/55. Luckily he said, we have the 205/55's in stock and he…

Caused a prang - to go through insurance or not?
So one day last week I came out of the gym and backed my car (gently) into the front side of a car parked perpendicular to me. I caused damage to the panel around the wheel arch. A very minor dent on an 8 year old ford fiesta. So I went back into the gym and found the woman who owns the car and we agree I will just pay for…

Getting car insurance
Had some reasonable quotes ( £48 per month for a fiesta ) Until I forgot I had to declare that I'd had insurance cancelled in the past, which I did have one cancelled 8 years ago as an irresponsible teenager . This then increased the quote to about £65 Do I still have to declare this even if it was that long ago?

The front alloys on my son’s Vauxhall GTC have become really
grubby and badly stained/tarnished in recent months. They seem to have degraded
all of a sudden which is a pity as they were in very good condition with no scratches
or kerbing whatsoever. Normally the alloys are very easy to clean;...a good scrub

I had a repair to my car last October, the catalytic converter was stolen so had to have it replaced which I did through my insurance. Hi, Can anyone tell me what the rules on parking are for small privately owned flats? We have recently had a non-resident park their work van here for a week or more and has recently started to park here again! Apparently as his mother owns 2 of the flats he is “entitled” to park here even though neither he nor his mother…

I had a lease agreement with Volkswagen services for 4 years. I returned the car in August this year, the BCA did the collection/inspection.
