Can I get my car serviced during the second coronavirus lockdown?

Some idiot slashed my tyres (and others on my road). My car is due for a service so was going to get that done and everything else at the same time. When I go on the Ford website however, none of their locations are showing as open (I have a service plan with them). Have all the garages shut down too?

Servicing and MOT is still allowed. Try ringing them rather than just looking on a Web site1

Servicing departments are allowed to stay open, only sales to close. I've had an email from my dealer confirming that services and MOTs can go ahead by prior appointment. Best to phone your dealer rather than relying on the website.0

Why pay main dealer prices for new tyres? Order online through black.circles.com or similar and choose a local fitter. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Spoke to my local garage for my service/MOT and they're open fine, all socially distanced, no courtesy car though0

Blimey, that breaks the mould!
I had my rear tyres replaced earlier this year using etyres. If I’d let the dealer(Jag) replace them at it’s last service the exact same tyres would have been approx £80 more per tyre.
My daughter had her Volvo V40 serviced (main dealer) in Sept and they wanted £175 for each of her front tyres. TyresOnTheDrive did it for approx £120 per tyre.
However, the convenience of having the tyres fitted at the same time as a service can be worth the extra cost of course.
