You certainly can't just cancel the finance, and you most definitely can't just stop paying it.

You may be able to return the car under the Consumer Rights Act, but it's not an absolute cert, based on the little information you've given so far.

What were the issues and dates?  was it the same issue its been in with for the first 2 times?
Is the inspection light a service indicator, or the engine check light?
If the garage doesnt pick up the phone or return calls then choose another garage to service your car, not Kwikfit or Halfords.

Who said anything about servicing, or Kwikfit/Halfords for that matter. The OP has purchased a car that has faults and is trying to get the dealership to remedy it.
  • Hello, I have multiple sclerosis I have been diagnosed on the 1st September 2020.
I have to give my car back but I still have to pay £5008.47. Is this normal? I am sending the car back as it is manual everything has changed I can no longer do my job which is a collection officer for royal mail.

What are your numbers, settlement figure, car trade in value, how long till you reach the half way point of paying for the car?

PCP or HP? Personal loan, lease? Not nearly enough info to go on.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
