They've now come back saying the 3rd party won't budge on the offer and they haven't…

Trade Plate Question
We have someone who lives near me who leaves untaxed cars on the road for weeks at a time but has trade plates in the windows. I thought they were only to be used to travel between trade places (Showrooms, garages etc.) not for personal use or leave on public roads. Has anyone any advice on this please.

I thought the limit changed further down the road. I admitted everything and the police gave me a long white ticket which says Part 2 Driver / Keeper Copy…

First car accident what do I do?
At 40 years old I have had my first car accident. Another car went into the back of me on a roundabout while I was stationary so not my fault. He’s reported it to his insurance, I haven’t yet as mine are now closed. But I’ve had a message from his insurer and I’m wondering if I even need to inform/involve my insurer. This…

Nissan Pixo boot, how to open?
Been to see a lovely wee Nissan Pixo 2009 and the only thing that seems very odd is that to open the boot, you need to press a little lever inside the car under the driver's seat, similar to the petrol cap lock. There is a keyhole but the woman selling it doesn't have a key for it and has never had a key. They key for the…

Should I replace gearbox?
I bought a second hand car about 2 months ago. It had been driving fine until yesterday when it wouldn't go into reverse. I've had a mechanic out who has said it is the gearbox and would be at least £300 to replace with a 2nd hand one. It is worth it or should I just cut my losses? I only paid £500 for the car, it has…

We had no idea what this was for so she rang them today and found out that it's for non-payment of road…

I received a letter from the council that gave me 10 days notice that my car has been reported as abandoned and would be removed if I take no action. I immediately moved it to…
