Paper Driving Licence

My driving Licence expires in 2024 (aged 70) I only have a paper one, when I renew it will I get a Paper Driving Licence back or will I have to suffer having a photocard licence.


How soon before expiry should I apply?

I have a paper one too (aged 63).

Unfortunately we will have to get the new photocard type.

You can apply from 90 days before your 70th birthday:

same position myself. You will get the card. I will apply a couple of months before

You'll also have to suffer renewing it every three years.

There's no issue with the paper licence, I for one will miss it when it goes. It's like an old friend:rotfl: plus you don't need to renew a photo every 10 years.

Absolutely spot on, but the rules should be they're in one piece and no sellotape.;)
