Car accident help

I had a car accident almost 3 years ago, the solicitors which my insurance company put me on to, haven't been great.
I have been left with tinnitus and I had an offer last week which is a small amount.
I said I'm not accepting the offer.
They've now come back saying the 3rd party won't budge on the offer and they haven't seen my medical records. If I give them access to it, the solicitors have said the offer could Go down.
I've googled other cases and they've topped £20k.
Am I still in my rights to not take the offer.
Or can I change to another solicitors?

What does your solicitor say about the offer in relation to the medical evidence?
Without figures no one here can advise. You can change solicitors but how do you intend to pay for the work already done?0 -
Define "small amount". What medical costs have you incurred since the accident?0

Why on earth would they pay out without knowing that you aren't extracting the michael?
How on earth do you suppose they're going to determine a fair payout without knowing your situation?
If your payout is reduced because of them finding out the truth, then doesn't that say quite a lot to you...?Am I still in my rights to not take the offer.Or can I change to another solicitors?
I'd be surprised if a solicitor would agree to take you on with "But I refuse to give access to my medical records" on the table, tbh.0 -
I am happy for the 3rd party to see the medical records, i have never said that i won't0

i have been honest and truthful throughout this time, i have not added anything extra onto the claim, the 3rd party has admitted fault eventually because i had a witness come forward and gave a statement0

So why have your solicitors not sent them through?0 -
sorry i wasn't very clear, the solicitors are minster law, and their reviews aren't great.
i have now replied to them to let the 3rd party see my records0 -
Your solicitors will need to deal with this quickly as there is only a 3 year limitation period for issuing court proceedings for a PI claim.
