On New Years day my van was crashed into while parked on the street near my flat. Unfortunately the person drove off, without leaving a note. It’s a pretty significant bit of damage but luckily it’s only cosmetic, the van still drives fine. At the time I opted not to inform my insurance company as my premium was already…

First Post Hello, I have a company car and take the option of 'free fuel' using my company credit card. ALL my private miles are paid for. I have calculated that my private miles are so small the tax I pay in FUEL CAR BENEFIT ( £4972) I would be better off by opting out of this scheme. SO , my question.... the £4972 I pay…

I have a 2012 KA (mark2) and the original Key Fob no longer electronically unlocks the car. This is due to the contacts within the fob becoming loose and there is nothing that can be done to rectify this. Insurance write-off, but not Cat C or D?
I'm thinking of buying an old Toyota Prius for my partner to learn on. It's less than £1000, so I don't expect too much! (And that is the expected price for a car this age with 100k miles.) But the vehicle report says it's a write-off. The owner says it had a "reportable accident", but is not Cat C or D. Is that possible?…
