Daft question guys, sorry. As I look at my Driving licence Card, which letters of classification, tell me which motorbike type, I can legally ride, if any?
Pretty sure I passed the motor bike test in maybe 1970 ish.
Haven't actually ridden two wheels since 1983, Kawasaki Z200.

It sounds like you'll have a full bike licence - class A.
AM is <50cc "mopeds"
A1 is <125cc
A2 is <35kW power
Have a look at https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and it'll tell you EXACTLY what DVLA think you're entitled to drive and ride.
Are you on a photocard licence, or still on the old paper? If you're on a photocard, then that'll already say what DVLA have you down for. If you're on paper, then they may have a different idea - now's the time to correct it, while you can prove it. If you passed your bike test in 1970ish, then you won't be far off needing to move to a photocard at 70, anyway.0 -
Thanks guys.
Adrian, via your website, my licence shows any bike, I believe. Corrected eyesight being a condition.
Warwick, I came away from your link thinking that maybe certain exams need to be passed.
Anyway, in the short term I can get back to looking at Panigale reviews. Shakey certainly makes riding those look quite straight forward!0 -

Is your life insurance up to date?0 -
Yes Adrian, apparently Honda are going to bring out an updated "Cub". Maybe that might be more sensible!0

I have this. It's more than powerful enough for me.
Well, on the flat. On hills, a bit more might come in handy.0 -
Is that an actual Brough Superior Adrian? Looks like a real lethal weapon to me!0
