Leather trim cleaner
I would like to clean/restore the leather seats and trim in a BMW. Halfords sell separate cleaner and restorer, each about £6.99 or £7.99, but not sure how effective they would be. I just wondered if anyone would know of a decent product to do this, as it is not just an automotive problem of course. There are most likely…

Short Car Journeys

Where do we stand? Used car buyer not happy.
 Husband bought a vehicle last weekend all seemed ok on paper and on initial viewing but over this past week first impressions have now not been the correct choice and he thinks he might have walked away if he had realised. We travelled some distance to view the vehicle so it really was a buy there and then or lose…

Changing a Wing Mirror (Mitsubishi Carisma)
Does anyone have any idea how one would go about this? Unlike every other blooming car on the planet. the wing mirrors on the Mitsubishi Carisma are located On the door, joined to the car below the window level, so it's not as simple as popping off the triangle on the inside of the window and changing the bolts. It looks…

PCH or lease on low mileage used car
Can anybody make a personal recommendation for a site or company specialising in 1 - 2 year high milage pa leases of 1 - 3 year old cars ? I have searched online and found several, but they all still have that 'dodgy used car dealer' feel to them, so I'm hoping for somebody with their own recent experience (Looking for…

This may seem a bit of a stupid question...
If I were to sell my car and didn't find a replacement until, say, 2 weeks later, what would I do with my insurance? If I were to cancel the policy then I would lose my no claims built up (due to go to 1yr in july after losing 3yrs last year).

How to attach sat nav to volkswagen up?
I've always used my tomtom with the vent/grill clips but the new car doesn't have one in the centre console. I tried using the windscreen sucker but it's too far away. So, I thought about one of those 'beanbag' type things but there is an air vent just at the area where that would sit although I could put it a bit further…

Car finance for business vehicle
I'm planning on starting up a business and need a more "executive" car than the current rust bucket that I'm driving at the moment. As I'm new to business ownership I am wondering what the best way of purchasing a car would be. Essentially I am likely going to drive a lot of miles so need something new(ish) and economical…

Group 2/3 car seats
Hi there, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum section or not but fingers crossed. I've started to look into Group 2/3 car seats and there seems to be such a choice and price difference I don't quite know where to start. For example I thought that I'd look on Amazon and the top rated seat is £29.99…
