Looks like a straight little car. The 1.3 is the older engine than the 1.25 and 1.4 that you can also get, but is virtually bullet proof.
No mention of MOT? Or did i miss it?
One thing i would say is it "could" be a trader selling it.0 -
Its got MOT until December. It's actually a 1.25 according to insurers
I think it's a genuine guy, said it's his wifes and selling due to having a baby and needing 5 doors0 -
If they drive like my ex MIL the new clutch will be on its last legs by now.
How long have they owned the car? How many miles do they do a year? How often did they have it serviced?
Is that nearside sill damaged?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The nearside is still like that apparently - they have been quoted £125 to spray it0

One of the most minimilist ads i've ever seen.
No info on tax or mot or previous ownership or service history stated on the ad, presumably you have had contact with the seller to have learned more, whats some service history when its at home, first service done in Nov 05 could be all its ever seen, thats part history.
Check MOT history to give at least some confirmation of mileage, tyres all good stuff or a worn out mixture of Chinese ditchfinders?
If you're nervous and lack the knowledge/experience to check this car out properly, get a pro a good friend whom you trust who does know about stuff to do it for you, from whats there and those small pics we cannot really advise.
Well spotted Forgotmyname, that sill's had a serious clout, how they gonna pull it out or are they going to stuff it with 10lbs of Isopon.0 -

I think its a 1.3 - from memory they didnt do a 1.25 Encore.
How long have they had it?0 -
They say registration date was 28/04/05, but it's a 54 plate, so should that be 28/01/05?If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Spray painting a damaged sill wont put the strength back into it though.
The ford spec is just a LESS EVERYTHING.. No electric windows, No heated screen.
I take it the Finesse was the basic version stripped out even more. I wonder is the steering wheel was an option also.
