Worst driving I've ever seen....
On a main dual carriageway. Car in the outside lane doing just over 50mph. Nothing for about half a mile on the inside. No problems ahead on the inside - in fact the lorries were slowly getting further away from this car. Queued up behind several others behind the car in question. In the end, they all undertook. Several…

Trailer licences.
Hi all, Does anyone know of any cheap ways to get a trailer licence? I'm thinking about getting into caravanning as a cheaper/more accesable alternative to holidays as with 4 kids they arent cheap or easy to arrange. I got my licence a few months after the rules changed (in 97 or 98 i think) so would need to do a seperate…

I'm a bit of a late bloomer at 30years old! What I wanted your advice on is...what type of car to get? What I'm most interested in is keeping the…

Peugeot 206 droning noise
As above on a hdi 2.0 turbo. Noise starts at about 20 mph, no steering wheel vibration, seems to be from right hand side and strangely seems quieter when it's cooler ie in the morning. 0nly makes a noise when driving straight, disappears when turning left or right. Had a quick look underneath nothing seems obviously amiss.…

Third party car insurance claim
My step daughter is 18 and has been driving for approx 9 months. Since motor insurance is so expensive for teenagers, I have included her on my multicar insurance policy. A few weeks ago, she unfortunatley reversed into a neighbours brick wall. Being a responsible person, she provided her details and explained the…

Points
In my search for insurance many insurers are asking for details of any endorsements in the last 5 years.. although the points are removed from the license after 4 years (for most minor endorsements that is). So why ask for 5 years history and not 4? Can they verify whether any points have been removed?

No Claims Bonus
I've read many a times people having say 4,5,10,12 years NCD or NCB (whichever one you want to call it). But recently upon trying to get an insurance policy i'm asked 'How many NCDs have you earnt in the last 3 years?' This may well be a dumb question (especially since i've been driving for about 7 years now!!), but surely…
